The grade 2 listed accommodation retains much of its original features including inglenook fireplaces, mullioned windows, spiral brick staircases, and oak beams throughout - even down to the traces of silver shillings and witches marks found on the oak beam across the main fireplace! There is ample parking on site too.

The property underwent a complete restoration in 1987, with the builders winning a conservation award for the work. The exterior was substantially refurbished in 2011.

The ultimate getaway, after a restful sleep, look forward to a tempting choice of traditional or vegetarian breakfast combinations, Children and babies well catered for. Being veggie ourselves, veggie breakfasts are cooked with appropriate consideration.

Different parties of guests eat either in the old keg room or the Country Inn kitchen in the morning; no "communal tables" here, so you can relax..

In the evening guests are welcome to relax in the main old tap-room, take a rest in the old beer garden or stroll on the adjacent common to see the Horses and wildlife.

We are very baby-friendly, which includes free use of high-chair, travel cot and/or Moses basket - helping save some luggage!

We are a strictly non-smoking establishment. Considerate Guests are welcome to smoke outside. Sorry no pets allowed.

The Jolly Farmers original brick staircase although well lit, is of a spiral nature and as such this will need to be taken into consideration if guests have special needs.
